Post-season schedule changes
Due to conflict with Little League Tournament play, the GWLL post-season is suspended until tournament play is complete.
(Note: game dates on calendar are tentative only! D16 Tournament games begin the weekend of June 27th and conclude based on the the success of our “All-Star” teams. UPDATE: All-Star schedules available.)
Also, in 9-12 baseball, the regular season ended in a 3-way tie for 3rd place. A special lottery was held to determine final standings, and a single-elimination playoff will be held on the conclusion of GWLL play to determine the World Series teams.
Post-season Baseball Games:
- (6th place) Duffers at (3rd place) Raging Waters
- (5th place) J. Byrne at (4th place) FMBA
- Winners of above games to play Elks and Duffers (1 game each)
- Winners of these games play in the “Best-of-3″ World Series
(Post-season softball will continue as slated once their tournament play is complete.)
We regret having to change the schedule, but the inordinate amount of rain this season has made this necessary. This decision was made in order to give the kids the opportunity to give their all to both tournament play AND to the post-season.

can this be true??? After a Rain filled season and a thrown game we postpone the season, and when we start back up we will only play A 1 game playoff to get to the World Series? I hope this is a typo. We are not going to postpone AND remove games? Are We? Make them wait till after All Stars but when All Stars are done let the kids play! Let the kids play out their season! Don’t make them wait and cut them Short 2 games.
