Scorekeepers and Pitch-counters Wanted
Are you interested in Softball? Baseball? In helping teach our kids the values learned from being involved with organized sports? We are looking for volunteer scorekeepers and pitch-counters for this season.
The response for help with the league’s snack bar has inspired us to turn to the community again. “We got such a great community response when we asked for help with the snack bar,” said league president Don Cabrera. “That’s one of the best things about living in such a tight-knit community.”
Volunteers will run the scoreboards at Higbee and Morey Fields during games on Monday through Friday evenings in May and June and for tournament play during some summer weekends. The score box also provides an excellent view of every game…behind home plate!
This is a great opportunity for a student trying to earn service hours for a community project, senior citizens looking for community involvement or anybody who wants to help teach our kids the values learned from being involved with organized sports.
All applicants must complete the Little League Volunteer Form and complete a security background check. For more information, contact the GWLL Board or call 609-729-8840.
