“Rockin’ Out for Little League” fundraiser a success!
Little League Supporters Help Raise Funds for Local Youth
The youth of the Wildwoods are one step closer to enjoying improved and safer softball and baseball facilities this summer.
Thanks to donations and bids from many generous businesses and families, The we were able to raise more than $3,300 at its “Rockin’ Out for Little League” fundraiser to be used toward necessary renovations to Higbee Field and league batting cages.
The event was held at the Bolero Resort on March 6th. The Bolero donated the use of their restaurant and lounge for the event and Jasen Mitchell from M&J Entertainment, The Nobody Band and John Lynch donated their talents to help entertain everyone at the event.
Live auctions of donated items helped boost the fundraising. Winners included Carl Groon, The Hunt Family, Jenn Smith, The Sgrignioli Family, “Ed, Jim and John”, The Zampirri Family, and The Demento Family.
The 50/50 raffle was won by Sam and Kathie Rogers, who graciously donated their winnings back to the little league, as well.
The league wishes to thank the following generous sponsors who provided the prizes and donations for the event:
